Program Overview

Embark on a five-day adventure at STEAM Basecamp! This program is designed to equip you with the skills and strategies needed for a smooth college transition, allowing you to thrive at Georgia Southern.

STEAM Base Camp is designed to help first-year students majoring in the College of Arts and Humanities (CAH), College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (CBSS), or College of Science and Mathematics (COSM). This camp provides academic preparation, connection-building, and tools for success as you start your first semester at Georgia Southern University.

  • Acceptance Notifications: Monday, June 9, 2025
  • Participation Confirmation Due: Monday, June 16, 2025

Program Details

  • Cost: Free! Housing and supplies are provided. Meals will be covered or available through meal plans.
  • Space: Limited to 100 students, with selection reflecting the diverse composition of our student body. Applicants not selected will be placed on a waitlist.
  • Location: Georgia Southern University Statesboro Campus
